It's clear that the Pres withheld NG and reply so that the situation would get worse.

FEMA blocked all aid and the RED CROSS.

And the media allows this while the public is "ignorant".

What the hell is going on?

2. Yep
They wanted the governor to cede her state's rights. Good for her - she did not. So they didn't inform her that he was coming. These fascists are deadly.

3. here's the RW strategery (sic)
1. Blame local officials in and around New Orleans (Democratic and African American)
2. Contrast with Republican "hero" local official Giuliani
3. Use continued problems to bid for more federal control (read: Republicans trump Dems in Louisiana) or to blame local official intransigence as excuse for problems.
4. whenever situation untenable, have feds make unacceptable demands upon local officials, so that the failure of local officials to "cooperate" or "authorize" can be blamed.

This way, RW feds either get more power, or at least they get arguments why they are not to blame

7. Dems by not speaking out have allowed themselves
to be put in a position to be blamed for every screwup of this administration.
