Everytime the Bush administration screws up they say "don't blame us". |
|
Everytime the GOP makes mistakes they say "don't point fingers".
Everytime the GOP kills people with negligence or stupidity they say "it was those other people's fault".
If only the CIA had done their job right...
If only Saddam wasn't a murdering thug...
If only Blanco had asked for help...
If only Clinton had *you name it*...
I say if these people are so incapable of running a goverment with the cards they are dealt, then they should get out and let someone take charge who can fix things.

5. I don't profess to know all the details. But congress is not blameless. |
|
Clearly there are checks and balances. None of the situation america is in right now would have occurred if congress had not been Bush's cheerleaders and enablers.
Both branches to have authority on different aspects of government though.

It does NOT matter whose "fault" it is. What DOES matter is that Bush did NOTHING until forced to. That belies an underlying personality disorder of both Bush and those in his Administration. Every single person reading this knows that when someone needs help, you help them. We don't need anyone's permission and we don't need to have the person in trouble ASK us. In fact, if we acted like that and left someone in peril there is a good to excellent chance that we would face civil or criminal charges.
The fact that Bush did NOTHING is the issue here, not why he did nothing. That's for the courts to decide. :)

7. This is what I'm going to tell people who say it's not time for blame. |
|
Everytime the GOP screws up they say it's the wrong time to blame anybody.
Point being, in the response, is the framing of the issue -- that the GOP screws up and doesn't want to get blamed.

was there for the taking, we met to divide the spoils of the clean-up to our corporate friens, we met for an hour on Monday to discuss whether to send the army in and decided not, then we met with corporate friends who saw it as an opportunity.
