Is this going to piss off Scalia?
I thought he was a shoe-in.

Goodbye America - it's been fun while it lasted.

5. Maybe that's what the BushCo wants - then they can add another
Fascist to the court - even worse than Scalia himself?

11. I don't think there is such a thing as "worse than Scalia."
That guy is DERANGED with right-wing filth and lies. He doesn't even have the capacity to reason clearly anymore.

12. Priscilla Owens
is a whole 'nother level of deranged. There's always a nastier freak waiting in the wings.

10. I'm sure Scalia has been in the loop on this
and is in agreement.

Scalia can be the power behind the throne. Roberts' age ensures their agenda is multi-generational.

17. That was my first thought as well.
Barring any unforseen accident or illness - we're doomed under this kind of regime for years.

18.  Could this be to get your attention off of New Orleans?
That's the new Con line. Don't look at at what has just been done. Don't look at the New Orleans suffering. We're going to appoint a Supreme Court that none would have suspected, nor have watched for, because they were so concerned with the suffering of the American people instead of watching how the political landscape took form.
The GOP are criminals, complicit with the Bush administration allowing thousands to starve and dehydrate and drown to death in New Orleans. The World Court Should Take Note!
