Dem's need to introduce legislation to restore FEMA to its previous status
as an independent agency with cabinet-level status.

I strongly feel the biggest blunder of the Bush Administration was degrading FEMA and putting it as a sub agency under the Department of Homeland Security. They hate Government and now residents of New Orleans got to be the Guinea Pigs in their brilliant experiment.

Can we please put things back the way they were now?????
