Nobody can read God's mind...
(This is not meant as a religious post)

The religious folks are quick to judge and point their fingers at the gays or the parade that was scheduled for this week. They say it is God's wrath coming down on "those" people. As if they can read the mind of God. How would they know that God is not showing them a bigger truth? They are under the spell of false prophets and lies. They believe whatever they are told by the politicians and the money-changers.

Perhaps God is showing everyone, including the religious right, that it is not nice to lie about Mother Nature, because you are deceiving God himself when you make excuses and lie about what is before your very eyes - for the benefit of your leaders and false prophets. If you refuse to see the "truth" before you, perhaps God has a Plan II ready to go? It would not be wise to lie and deceive people about an act of God. Plan II could be even worse...

1. these are concepts of God
that, being concepts, are not necessarily the Truth.

Mystics have talked of earth changes taking place for several years now. They are not a judgement based on the actions of certain groups of people, but part of the evolution of consciousness. I fear Katrina is only the start of these changes. Hang in there, everyone.

3. Perhaps...
Perhaps not?.. Perhaps God is all of us. Perhaps God is the consciousness of all of us stirred into one big old mixing bowl? Perhaps it is this consciousness that has its own energy? No one person can escape this energy field called God. So we give it other names like Fate, Revenge, Religion, Karma, or whatever, but we do indeed have a part to play though none of us is wise enough to interpret the recipe...

6. If God actually worked that way, He would have sent the

hurricane during the height of the "Southern Decadence" festival, wouldn't He?

Q.E.D. God does NOT work that way.

8. My mother told me earlier
this woman at church said it was God's fault etc. who did the hurricane. :eyes: It's global warming. Duh. God has nothing to do with the weather and I'd also be quick to point out God's promise in Gensis not to flood the Earth again.

12. You don't have to if you are what you claim to be and in *'s case
the one that says "Thou shalt not kill" would have made the Iraq quagmire impossible if he truly believed what he claims to believe.
