Roberts is a shoo-in; Bush gets a second chance
Since Roberts will be a case of replacing the conservative Rehnquist with another conservative, Bush will have another chance to be a uniter by appointing a moderate to replace Sandra Day O'Connor. We have another shot at trying to save the Supreme Court. What can we start doing now?

1. Appointing a moderate, *snort*
Roberts is being pitched as "moderate." Bush isn't remotely concerned about our opinions. He says he's a uniter, therfore he's a uniter. Don't be surprised if he foists up the likes of Priscilla Owens for the O'Connor vacancy.
