FEMA and flood repairs
Clyde NC flooded from Ivan last year and a 100 or so houses were affected.
Residents could sell homes for tax value and relocate or stay and repair.
Those who stayed will have no help in another flood and nothing will be
rebuilt on land of demolished houses.
If the water was over electric meter whole house has to be rewired,
everything thrown away because of contaminated water.
FEMA is gone yet rebuilding continues through a methodist
recovery group of volunteers.
