Bush's PREMEDITATED disruption of life saving efforts
Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 03:20 PM by Cell Whitman
This kind of blows the "whooops" defense out of the water, don't it?

Scott McClellen 9-1-05 on Bush's previous low flying "fly by"

The one thing that the pilots aboard Air Force One did, at the direction of the President and the White House, was to make sure that the flyover in the region was in no way going to disrupt the ongoing response and recovery efforts, the ongoing search and rescue efforts. That's why they were in close contact with people on the ground in the region, authorities on the ground, to make sure that the level we were at, and where we were flying over was in no way disrupting those ongoing activities. So they were very careful about that.

Congressman can't get Bush on the line

9-02-05

DAVID PACE Associated Press
....
In St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes, just south of New Orleans, victims of the hurricane are still waiting for food and water and for buses to escape the floodwaters, Melancon said. And for the entire time Bush was in the state, the congressman said, a ban on helicopter flights further stalled the delivery of food and supplies.

Bush visit halts food delivery
By Michelle Krupa
Staff writer

Three tons of food ready for delivery by air to refugees in St. Bernard Parish and on Algiers Point sat on the Crescent City Connection bridge Friday afternoon as air traffic was halted because of President Bush’s visit to New Orleans, officials said.

The provisions, secured by U.S. Rep. Charlie Melancon, D-Napoleonville, and state Agriculture Commissioner Bob Odom, baked in the afternoon sun as Bush surveyed damage across southeast Louisiana five days after Katrina made landfall as a Category 4 storm, said Melancon’s chief of staff, Casey O’Shea.

“We had arrangements to airlift food by helicopter to these folks, and now the food is sitting in trucks because they won’t let helicopters fly,” O’Shea said Friday afternoon.

No Moon and No one like a Bush is president - it's as simple as that.

1. They knew about the potential disruption of aid beforehand.
Pretty straightforward. But they needed that "bullhorn moment" that keeps eluding them, what with all the dead and angry people...

2. Email this to all the news stations.
Let them know that any more appearances in the disaster area may cost American lives.

Everyone should tell Bush to STAY HOME!

4. maybe if this gets nominated it won't fall through the cracks
Rove and co. will make for it. I am sure the points have been discussed here before but here they are in one place.

This is really revealing seems to me and I am kind of jaded from way back.
