First words I have heard from Harry all week.... says it is "unseemly" to be holdling confirmation hearings before Renquist is buried.

Has he had anything to say about the horrific government response to the worst natural disaster of all time?

hearings on Roberts now. It might be but it's also a shrewd political move. Let * continue his drop in the polls before bringing up the nominations. It will help get a more moderate appointee for the next seat.

I think Reid had a statement about victims and lack of response but I forget what it was.

on edit: I remember. He issued a statement about the need to focus on the victims and not to push the rest of the agenda.
