Bush ordered flags half staff on 9-11 & for Bob Hope, not for Katrina!

So Wolf Blitzer asked his CNN reporter to look into this. I just did. On September 11, the Chimp ordered flags to be flown at half staff for the 3,000 victims of the terrorist attacks and on September 14 extended the time period for the flags to be lowered:

Here we are, a week post-Katrina, and Bush has ordered the flags at half staff following the death of one man, Chief Justice Rhenquist, but not for the upwards of 10,000 estimated dead from Hurricane Katrina.

Dana said she didn't know what the policy or procedure or something was about this....I find it very difficult to believe that neither CNN's lead anchor (Wolf) nor their White House correspondent (Dana) didn't know that the flag-lowering DID in fact happen on 9/11.
