I can't fathom what this disaster was, but if there is really a God would he have done this to the poorest of the poor???
Is it possible this is the path to the light at the end of the tunnel?? If so, what a miserable, terrible way of exposing corruption!
But there has to be a reason why!

Nothing can justify the murder of millions of people. Nor can anything justify
the needless deaths of all these people in New Orleans.
Nothing makes sense. The bastards keep on getting away with it and the rest
of the world suffers.

I remember hearing the clip of the newsman lament over the
devastation when the Hindenberg burned up. He cried, "Oh,
the humanity..." and he was just sobbing.
That's how I feel.

The reason is that Nero fucked up big time by stripping New Orleans of National Guard personnel and funds to strengthen the levees, and he sent both the troops and the cash to Iraq, where the cash disappeared into a big contractor hole and the troops are now coming home in body bags. That is the reason the NOLA disaster happened. God, that was so simple...
