Rush was classic today
And it took less than 60 seconds of listening to catch pure insanity. Caught the end of a woman caller who was suggesting the environment has changed to cause stronger hurricanes. Rush became indignant and said it is difficult to talk with someone who uses emotions, and not logic. He went on to say that he believed that man could not change the environment even if he tried.

Believe? That's the quintessential word that prefaces an emotional responce. Let's not be tricked into reading any "Science" on the subject, Pigfuckboy.

1. Absolves him of any guilt over anything. The ones who
proclaim others should be responsible for their own actions always manage to not ever take any for their own.

2. Can he be held to account for this blatant lie?? Can someone
hold his feet to the fire for misleading people about the very real effects of global warming on weather patterns and the severity of present and future hurricanes??

3. I love what you call him.
You made me laugh and that is not easy these days. He is showing his true colors. Any reasonable person knows that global warming is real. I wonder what his ratings are right now. Honestly, I don't really care. He is like a child who is misbehaving. We have to ignore him. He wants attention, good or bad. Same with Karl Rove, sometimes I really think that we should disregard him. I know that that can be dangerous. But, still my gut as a mother and former teacher screams don't even look at him.

11. I agree with you. It is all about ratings they don't care if you love him

4. He is becoming more and more marginalized
He used to have some influence in popular culture and RW public framing of issues...

No more..he has now become a blathering idiot that few have any interest in.

So his blather becomes increasingly nonsensical in his attempt to be influential.

IMHO. MKJ

7. Don't know but it seems to me that some of the corporations &
especially the Corps of Engineers are always fucking with "Mother Nature" to some degree. Is'nt changing the flow of the river or widening it, the marsh lands attempts at changing the environment. Usually these are some of Rush's friends doing all this damage to the environment. Not fighting global warming is also screwing with nature and causing more damage to the environment. We can do postive things.
