My Asshole repug relative claims Blanco refused to allow Feds troops in!
Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 08:22 PM by demo dutch
He (Bush)has safely overseen the disasters of Jeanne, Frances and 162 others about this country with little or no complaints. He cannot order federal troops into a beseiged area without state approval, and it is the federal troops who bring and distribute the food and house and protect the innocents. The LA governor refused to allow such intervention, incorrectly believing the 7000 National Guards she had on hand could handle it. They could not. So scores have likely died because of her failure to act properly. And it is not like she did not have time to assemble her team before the disaster and decide what to do if....

And now to back her up, none other than the leading liberal of liberals, Jesse Jackson. Typical of liberals, blame everyone else but never offer help or provide positive direction. Now he blames the U.S. government, saying that if it was white people, they would have reacted quicker. Jesse, it IS white people in many of these hard struck areas, yet attention was given to the 90% black population in New Orleans BEFORE addressing the outlying areas. Read the paper you stupid asshole, and quit dividing America along racial lines. You have done enough to hurt this country already.

One has only to wonder when Bitch Hillary will toss in her garbage.

Amazing isn't it!

1. very calmly and quitely tell your relative the following:
In the event of a terrorist attack, natural disaster or other large-scale emergency, the Department of Homeland Security will assume primary responsibility on March 1st for ensuring that emergency response professionals are prepared for any situation. This will entail providing a coordinated, comprehensive federal response to any large-scale crisis and mounting a swift and effective recovery effort. The new Department will also prioritize the important issue of citizen preparedness. Educating America's families on how best to prepare their homes for a disaster and tips for citizens on how to respond in a crisis will be given special attention at DHS.

Ask your relative why the president didn't even bother to find out what was happening, but instead went golfing and parties while Rome burned

The results speak for themseleves

Look at Iraq
