MSM is biting back and distancing itself from the Bushistas. MSM is clearly taking orders from someone else, which indicates a realignment of the elites running the country. They're backing off from the dismal incompetence of the ape house before the little people can stick some blame onto them too. Look for backing off from more aggressive economic "reforms" that would further erode the social safety net; this will amount to the crumbs tossed downward to pacify the increasingly restive have-nots. Given the impact of the energy crisis, which is only starting to be felt, those crumbs won't be enough. People will lose jobs and homes, and most others will have to choose between gas for their cars, heating oil and natural gas for their homes, food and health care for themselves and their families, and spending on advertiser-created needs.
We just went to Ash Wednesday before passing through Mardi Gras. Party's over, but Bushista heads will be some of those crumbs tossed downward, so all the news isn't bad.
