Typhoon Nabi (CAT 3) eye is hitting lower Japan now.

Winds of 115 mph.

Interesting to see how the Japanese handle this. I am willing to bet that they will be highly efficient.

You like this "oh, even Japan is better that us" even before a level 3 hits, which happens all the time here too and shouldn't be a problem anyway - this is utterly rediculous - Katrina was 1 in 10,000 and you know it - this type of thread is utter tripe...

6. Well, China evacuated 790,000 in wake of killer typhoon last week....
Their death toll was 3 and "dozens injured." Is there any reason to believe Japan will be any less efficient?
