4. If the media is any indication, they should all start rolling over now
and pave the way for what needs to happen... for the survival of our nation.

9. Do you mean something like this:
Final battle of the Napoleonic Wars on 18 June 1815 in which A COALITION FORCE of British, Prussian, and Dutch troops under the Duke of Wellington defeated Napoleon near the village of Waterloo, 13 km/8 mi south of Brussels, Belgium. Napoleon found Wellington’s army isolated from his allies and began a direct offensive to smash them, but the British held on UNTIL JOINED BY THE PRUSSIANS UNDER MARSHAL GEBHARD VON BLUCHER.

Sorry for the caps, I don't know how to do bold or italics.

6. If it isn't his Waterloo...I fear we're really finished.
And by "we" I mean the United States of America.

11. That is the real rub, therein.
Global warming-fueled climate change, Peak Oil, the failure of globalization, and the eventual powerdown. We live in unsusatainable times, my friend.

We lived a dream, as if we could dream forever. A dream of air conditioning, high tech jobs, and perpetual growth. We dreamed of football parties and plasma TVs, we dreamed of driving Humvees through the bad bush of Main Street. We dreamed so well, and dreamed so long, that when we woke up, the world was gone.

7. I hate to disappoint you
but unfortunately bush and his administration aren't going anywhere.

I don't know what everybody thinks is going to happen. A republican congress isn't going to impeach a republican president and an egomaniac isn't going to resign.

10. Don't know about that...
Every member of the republican congress is looking out for themselves. They have an election in 2006. If Bush starts dragging them down, impeachment may be in their best interest. I hope.

13. The only solution
is to get a Dem majority back in Congress. 2006 is the key. Then maybe * has a chance of getting impeached.

15. True, but resignation is a real possibility - particularly if the
"wise men" visit him as they did Nixon, and tell him in no uncertain terms that it is TIME TO GO.

12. I think you're right.
All of Bush's problems are connected...Iraq/WMD/Ohio Election/DSM/RovePlame/Sheehan...now Katrina. Like a row of dominoes...if the hurricane tips, the rest will follow.
