| Any info on this fire trucks leaving Ilinois for New Orleans ? |

They just showed a bunch of ladder and fire trucks leaving Illinois for a 14 to 16 day stint in NO. What the heck are they doing taking trucks that get maybe 3 or 4 miles a gallon all the way to NO. This was a lot of trucks and they looked to be mostly very large ladder & snorkel types. Does this seem odd to anyone else.

It's the New Oleans flood not the Chicago fire.
Didn't the fire equiment in New Orleans make it to high ground ?
