Now it's the incompetence of the Secretary of DHS and the head of FEMA (with justification) BUT who was it that appointed these incompetents to these positions? The media just has to stop giving Bush these passes when things fuck up. He is responsible. He always says "I am going to blah blah blah..." so he is the one. We have to believe our lying eyes that he was on vacation, in Arizona, and photo oping all over the place while he should have been in DC getting his appointees prepared for the coming disaster. HE should have picked up the phone and called the governors, HE should have inquired about state plans in order to know what to do to get some coordination going. He is the Commander in Chief, HE has to give the orders to move the Northern Command which was sitting there waiting for orders. He has to kick ass and take names. HE just fucking didn't do it!!
