"he drowned his own people"
Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 11:30 PM by SoCalDem
try it on for size, and wear it:)

He may not have drowned as may as Saddam gassed, but he did it as willingly.

Saddam was fighting a "war" that WE armed him to fight..our proxy war to get even for the hostage takings. We gave him the gas, and we fully expected him to use it..

We even sent Rumsfeld to confer with him after the fact.. Hell, they probably sat around with tubs of popcorn and watched the videos..

What Bush did last week was worse, because unless we are at "war" with Louisiana, they did NOT deserve what his ignorance and la-di-dah attitude did to them

he managed to destroy a major metropolitan city, an international city, killed tens of thousands of people..and ruined families forever..

Hearing that Granny drowned in her attic in her nightgown, and no one came to help her, is not something you ever "get over"..Watching your family pet desperately try to swim after a boat taking you to safety, and knowing it will drown or starve or die from drinking petroleum soup, is not something you ever "move on" from..

TWICE he has been called upon to keep us safe...and TWICE he has struck out.

The first time, he vacationed instead of paying attention to important information that might have prevented so many deaths, IF the attack had even happened...

The second time, he failed to appoint people who were qualified for their jobs, and through his neglect to details, yet again, innocent people died grisly deaths..

Not only did he ignore the warning signs, he reveled in his own glory during and after the catastrophe. While people fought for their lives and those of their families, he was clowning around with a guitar, eating cake, playing golf, and wandering around trying to kill social security and convince old people to buy into his snake oil scheme for drug purchases.

It's no big deal to him though.. His own mother said it best.."they were only poor people anyway" (paraphrased)

Which is worse?.. gassing that takes a few seconds, or dying bit by bit for hour upon hour, day after day of suffering..hearing the helicopters, and knowing that they will not be saving YOU.. Dying of thirst, surrounded by undrinkable water...or from a lack of life-sustaining medicine, or just plain ole drowning..

I guess the Bush family's "pretty minds" cannot be bothered..

He DID drown his own people (whether they voted for him or not) ...

1. Bush killed his own people.
That's the sole remaining accusation we can muster against Saddam as an excuse for invading a nation that didn't attack us.

Bush can't throw that stone anymore.

12. that picture. I hate him.
Maybe hate is too strong a word, but it describes exactly how I feel whenever I see him.

6. Works for me.
'Cept Bush's mom doesn't consider them his own people any more than Saddam considered the Kurds his own people.

Oh wait....

7. And even on that one
There have been claims that the gassings were done by the Iranians. THe truth on that one is probably lost in the fog of war

9. Probably some on both sides..
That was a vicious war..(what war isn't?) New 'technologies" are always tried out..and often in proxy wars..(little accountability and plenty of others to blame stuff on)

11. The Bush family has been murdering people for years
They're like any other royal family - they kill whomever they like without fear of consequences. Drowning thousands won't cause them a moment's distress. These people are hothouse sociopaths.

13. I wonder if they ever raised pedigreed dogs..
a weird thought came to mind.. years ago my mother raised poodles, amd one litter had a "parti-colored" puppy (back then the AKC did not recognize them).. anyway a lady came to look at the puppies and to buy one and asked my mother what she planned to "do with the partipup". My mother didn't even know what she was talking aboutm so she asked what she meant. The lady was also a breeder, and was looking for a different bloodline male to breed with her females..
She told my mother that they "usually "just drowned" them"..It's not a good idea to pollute a bloodline with an impure puppy....

My mother escorted her to the door and told her that none of the pups were for sale to HER..

That parti-pup was our Chico who lived to be 18..

Drowning of the helpless comes so easily to some:(..

(disclaimer for any of you who breed dogs.. I know that MOST do not do this..and we would never in a million years...but it does happen)

15. eh? Poppy was quite happy with the hostage-takings.
Remember the October Surprise? Reagan's first inauguration split-screen with the release of the hostages in a staged photo-op?

Edited on Tue Sep-06-05 12:44 AM by SoCalDem
any investigation into the "co-ink-ee-dink" of the simultaneous nature of their release.. I DO fault Carter for being such a "gentleman" about it.. ..He was sabotaged by al CIA....Bush..reagan was just happy to be playing the role of a lifetime, but Bush sr was playing for real.. with people's lives..

My guess is that the hostages could have been released much earlier, and were "used" as a prop for the ultimate actor.

22. I know....it's sickening.
and why so many couldn't see all this...and still might not put 2 and 2 together.. It's all been out there but the Media covered it up and so many people put their fingers in their ears because they could afford "no money down" McMansions and drive or lease their Monster SUV's, and buy the cheap stuff from China. The media allowed this madman and his henchmen to keep at it while the people lapped it up flying flags on their car and laughing with Malkin, Coulter, Limbaugh and Fox as they jeered and made fun of the very people who saw the evil in what they were doing to the country to ruin it and were trying to save it.

And, now we know that none of us is safe from these madmen drunken with their own power and control. Michael Ruppert was correct. Try to find a place that you can survive and stock up because what's coming is going to be "survival of the prepared."

Good God...I never thought I'd see something like this here in this country after the lessons of WWII when another madman was in control and caused massive death and destruction. And, most of us here are here on this site because we tried in every way to stop it and we couldn't. It's just devastating.

For all of these koolaid lappers what about the monkey* drowning our own people? Would that justify another country invading to bring the chimp* to justice for killing his own people?

How about invading to bring democracy?
