People don't want to leave their homes now ....because they don't want
to go into even WORSE conditions. I am hearing the COMPLETE interview with survivors now, most recently on a BBC broadcast.
One guy even left the horrible conditions at the Convention Center, wading through chest high filthy water, to return to his home. To him, it was the lesser of two evils, and I can't disagree with him.

Then you hear the damned spin on this from those in "damage control", making it sound like these people are too crazy to know when to leave.

2. How about this new rule?
Every bastard who says shit like that has to go sit in the Convention Center or in one of these peoples' flooded houses, maybe go sit a spell on the roof and then see how they feel about them. I have the feeling they'll be seeing the light REAL fast. ASSHOLES.

3. One rescuer was saying
that some turned down the rescuers because they thought they would have to pay for the helicopter ride and couldn't afford it. How sad is that?
