Yet another report unfavorable to Shrub and his buds!
I had it on in the background so I can't relate all of it, but at the end, they had the Mayor of some Parrish outside of NO complaining that it's been a whole week and she hasn't heard ANYThING from FEMA so she's implemented fixes for her people all by herself. She said FEMA stands for Forget everybody but the Metro areas!
Ted Koppel said he's going to cover the Katrina situation all week.
Life is looking very gloomy for the Shrubery...THANK GOD...finally!
Sorry: edited for logicals sentence!

There are so many of them. Nobody can possibly miss finding out what a bad job Bush's Homeland Security did.

I know many on DU get pretty upset with Ted Koppel, but I like his Nightline Program most of the time!

4. I was actually kind of disturbed by the Nightline report tonight. |
|
There was one point where they found people being given food and diapers and such in a mall parking lot. The food didn't come from FEMA or any other local, state or federal acencies, but was donated by the good people in one of the poorer towns in Kentucky.
I fear stories like this will only serve to bolster * and Company because they'll hold it up as the thousand points of light that HW Bush envisioned.
But what it really means is that other poor Americans are giving what little resources they have to the relief effort while the federal government--who should be supplying these items--is left to spend our tax dollars on a bloated and illegal war.

6. I see your point, but I don't think that logic will work this time! |
|
The Feds have made way too many mistakes this time to be able to cover them up with BS!
Most people will see through Shrub's photo ops and the BS of his minions!
