Is there anything we Americans can do to help bush to GET IT? |
|
cause he just don't get it as they say, what would it take to make him see our seething anger and general discontent? or is it even possible? just what would it take to get through to these maniacs?
are we truly, utterly powerless to stop him?

1. He "gets it" as much as he ever will - it's wishful thinking to |

want him to recognize others' feelings. He hasn't the capacity for empathy. Everything that's important to him relates directly to how it affects HIM. NOLA disaster response failures are only important in how they reflect on HIS image. Individual suffering of others isn't intrude on his reality unless it somehow will affect what HE wants. This is evident in the first candid remarks regarding his memories of NOLA - partying there is the first thing that came to his mind - he'll miss it, of course. And rebuilding the devastated areas boiled down to his being able to sit on Trent Lott's rebuilt porch - not rebuilding people's lives. He can't relate to others, except as they relate to his needs and wants - typical sociopath.

2. Its very, very simple. |
|
We tarnish and destroy his image permanently- Its the only thing he cares about.
He doesn't care about anything else.
But if he is embarassed/trounced/destroyed and rallied against en-masse he will go nuts and likely explode (and resign, by all accounts)
We just have to force him to that point....And if he fights, we fight back with impeachment wound up and tied up by leaders who re-grew their spine.
A country fuck-up failed dictator in carterville, is all he is.

6. IMHO, our only recourse is to deal Bush a thousand "paper-cuts," |
|
each aimed at his ego. However, Bush's mortal wound will not come from the war or his racist failures in New Orleans. His deathblow will come from the economy, and that is perched on the edge of a razorblade. The cost of Iraq, Afghanistan, dwindling oil supplies and now New Orleans is going to be so catastrophic, he will go down.

10. Bottom line: we're powerless. |
|
Unless elected Democrats make a stink like never before and convince a bunch of Republicans to join them, we just have to wait this administration out and hope like hell nothing else happens. A zillion people in the streets wouldn't phase this bunch.

11. Is America REALLY this gullible about *? |
|
WASHINGTON - President Bush is spending much of his time these days on relief efforts for victims of Hurricane Katrina after his administration was harshly criticized for an initial response to the storm called slow and inadequate. ...................................
NOW he makes a showing....hugging a few African Americans every chance he can... pretending to give a toot in a whirlwind.... and "prospects" are that hsi poll numbers will skyrocket back to where they were at 9-11!!! Give me a break! Are we REALLY that gullible about this sorry sack of useless flesh? Do we just want to forgive and forget the stupidity and non-chalance of this Nazi?
Good Lord, what have we become under this mistake?
