BBC TV coverage: Elderly white couple in Slidell-'Billions for Iraq, no |

medicines or supplies here for over 5 days' etc. (roughly)
BBC's coverage seems generally more graphic than US TV. Their correspondent travelling in a motorboat, visiting homes and doing some rescues.
Rescued children in one house--the mother had died. They showed her body laying in the bedroom in the back of the house.
They showed some other bodies lying in the water and at houses.
If you get this on cable, it's worth checking out a different "perspective" on coverage, as Sean Hannity would put it.
