So Now That We Are Completely Paralyzed, I Expect Another Terror Attack.
With our country totally fucked up and paralyzed, our infrastructure badly damaged, most of or resources tied up in Iraq and the rest tied down in NOLA, I can't help but think, "If I were Bin Laden, I would be giving out the orders to hit us again. Now."

Their stated goal is to cripple us economically. Bush has met that goal for them.

Now that we are visibly weakened, It makes all the sense in the world that they would exploit that opportunity. Not only has the non-response from the administration left thousands probably tens of thousands dead and shown the fact that we are no better prepared for an unexpected terror attack.

It has created the PERFECT conditions for an attack.

Bin Laden is not a stupid enemy. If I get this, he sure as hell does too!

Fuck you George Bush!

How many will die before we storm the fucking Bastille?

2. Don't worry about bin Laden
He's just a stooge for Bush's World Domination plans.

I'm much more worried about Rummie and Cheney. Who knows what they'll pull next now that their shit is falling apart around them.

However of the hopeful side, I think we reached a very important turning point this weekend, when Blanco took charge and hired her own staff and control was taken away from the Pentagon and turned over to the National Guard. Chernoff didn't know what hit him when Honore showed up and shoved him out of the way and started to make things happen. It could have gone the other way and if it did the US would have made Iraq look like Disney World.

3. "we are no better prepared ..."
I think we are less prepared ... we can't seem to hand out a bottle of water w/out going through a slew of bureaucratic layers.

Most assuredly, anyone wishing to harm us has seen the complete incompetence.

5. You said it; the bottom line:
"Most assuredly, anyone wishing to harm us has seen the complete incompetence."

Bush, et al, have offered much encouragement to those that would like to see us fail as a Nation. How does this spin with their weak statements about Cindy Sheehan helping the enemy?

4. I don't worry about an attack...
Most likely to happen is an elevated code orange or something...to take our minds off what's happening in New Orleans don't ya know? There's nothing like scaring the populace to get their minds off their troubles and woes.:eyes:

7. Maybe More Americans Will Realize This Now
Obviously terrorism from outside the US is not the problem we face.

10. This was a terrorist attack
or at least BushCo tried to turn it into one. Osama doesn't scare anyone anymore, so they needed a new threat. They tried to turn the poor black people of New Orleans and the rest of the country into that new threat.

Listen to the M$M last week, the Army Times even called them insurgents? Every story on the M$M lead of with reports about the looting and shooting and the victims and the dead ran second. We had tanks rolling down the streets with armed troops but not food or water.

If BushCo had gotten their way, New Orleans would make Baghdad look like Disney World soon. Of course in order to assure our security we would need total control and armed troops everywhere. Fortunately, Bush blew it and the tide has turned against them. Their latest FLOP is a total failure.
