Hey America, I TOLD YOU SO!!! Dammit! I Told You So!

I told you so! I told you so! I told you so!

I told you that this man was evil.

I told you this man was unqualified.

I told you that he couldn't tell a real threat from a hole in the ground.

I told you that he was robbing us blind.

I told you that his diverting resources to Iraq was a disaster waiting to happen.

I told you that he hated the poor.

I told you that he hated minorities.

I told you that he makes us less safe.

I told you he was an unfeeling sociopath.

I told you that he had to go.

In short, I told you that he was a national disaster.

Fuck You America! You just wouldn't listen! You just fucking wouldn't!

Why not?

1. True you told us so, we all have been saying this.
You are preaching to choir here.
Go, Go tell the rest of America, the part that wasn't listening.

Thanks

2. On behalf of all republicans I respond...
"Because we conservatives thought he was a good man deep down and we were deeply stupid, we love guns, and sorry to defend this racist bastard all this time. I hang my head in shame."

Yes, BushCo Mobile's Agenda is Toast. We as Americans did this. He can barely move anywhere. He is not toast yet, of course, but that's another story.

It will take alot more outrage to make BushCo toast itself, and total vengence against McEvil Cheney and the Admin fascists. But in the meantime, we have them paralyzed pretty damn bad.....so any other plan is up to Americans...

9. I Have Seen A Lot Of Folks From The Appeasement Camp Here Over The Years.
It is not all of is. It is most of us.

What about those people that said we should hold our fire? What about all those here at DU that said we should not filibuster Rice, Gonzalez, Roberts? What about those that said it was better for democrats to "keep their heads down" than demand immediate relief last week? What about those that plan to go ahead and vote for the democrats that have let us down in NOLA, on the Iraq War Resolution and the Patriot Act. What about those of us that NEVER punish our own for their failures and allow them to keep backing Bush policies with impunity?

In short, what about all of the moderate dems what worry more about how taking action to save lives will look politically than about actually saving the lives?

Not ALL of us. We are surrounded by DINO appeasers. Even here at DU.

16. If anyone had been paying attention, they would have "gotten it"....
...the day that Poppy Bush became Vice President under Reagan.

Or perhaps they would have "gotten it" the day that Reagan was shot while the brother of the would-be assassin was sitting down to lunch with Neil Bush.

Or maybe they "got it" when the Vietnam War was purposefully prolonged to feed the coffers of the U. S. Defense Industry at a cost of 58,000 American and 2 million Vietnamese lives.

Or maybe they would have "gotten it" the day that JFK was publicly executed in Dallas, and Poppy Bush unlike 99% of all other Americans, couldn't recall where he was that day.

Or maybe they "got it" the day Martin Luther King was gunned down in Memphis, or when Bobby Kenedy was shot to death in that hotel pantry in Los Angeles.

Or they may have "gotten it" when Poppy Bush's name surfaced in connection to the Cuban Task Force/Bay of Pigs along with other infamous people like E. Howard Hunt, Bernard Barker, Frank Sturgis, and Felix Rodriguez.

Or they may have even "gotten it" when an outgoing Ike warned everyone about the growing threat of the military industrial compex.

I "got it" ALL of those times...and I don't need some self-absorbed, pompous, horse's butt telling me all about how HE told everyone what was coming. IMHO, he's a few decades behind the rest of us that have been around for a wile.

17. I agree, I don't see why so many people couldn't see what
a gang of thugs, incompetent, uncaring a-holes the Bush junta was/is.

Possible reasons--most of which yall have probably already heard:

(1) they get their news from the corporate media hoes, esp. Fox.
(2) they viewed Kerry as "liberal" and therefore anathema to them.
(3) they view Bush & Republicans as "winners" (football-team syndrome.)
(4) they voted for Bush for "moral reasons" (they perceive him as anti-abortion and anti-gay.); they believe he is a "good Christian" (I guess they believe that because he SAYS that he is.)

Still, I think saying "I told you so," is a big turn-off to most people. Even if it's true. Saying it here may help you vent. Saying it to people who have finally opened their eyes doesn't help our cause, getting rid of the s.o.b.'s.

19. We need to compile a list of documentation on how Bush made Katrina worse
This could be the most devastating blow, not just to Bush, but to the entire Republican (big government is bad, taxes are bad)agenda.

Taxes pay for emergency responders, big government develops, allocates and deploys emergency responders.

21. We aren't all doing it. Some of us are. Others Applaud DINO Do Nothings
until the cows come home.

If democrats demanded real leadership, we could stand up to these fascist thugs. Yet we refuse to filibuster any nominee for fear of looking like "obstructionists". We refuse to fight a stolen election because we fear being called "sore losers". We refuse to demand action from Bushco when tens of thousands are dying so the dems can "keep their heads down" and not look "political".

Sorry folks. But, that is both a losing and immoral game to be playing with tens of thousands. The democratic party knows nothing about being an opposition party. They stand up to no one in this bogus ass administration.

This is no longer just about the repug evil-doers in our government. It is also about all of those in our party that let them get away with it. More importantly it is about all those of us that allow them to let the repug evil-doers get over on the whole world.

All of America holds some guilt here. We are a government "of the people". If our governemnt fails us it is because we let them do it.

Not all of "us" are doing the right thing. You may be and more power to you. But to claim we ALL are is simply a fallacy.
