7. The closest Roberts is going to get to the Supreme Court |
|
is the front steps.
His nomination isn't going anywhere at this point. They already cancelled the hearings for this week.
BushCO's going down. They've got a lot of explaining to do.

5. Enough with this pointless kvetching |
|
It will take however long it takes. First you have to get rid of him. Then you do the recovery. After a while you can assess. In the meantime, just get on with it. Some much useless wheel spinning going on, no wonder DU is on level 3.

6. And we're probably stuck with this clown until January 20, 2009 |
|
That hit me the other day. This imbecile is going to be in office another three and a half years.
Then again, looking at some pictures of him today at his briefing, he seems like he really cannot stand the job. He's ready to retire and not even have to pretend he's working. I wouldn't be shocked if he stepped down and came up with some health excuse before 2009. Not like that would be any better, Cheney would just officially become President. Either way, we're likely stuck with this cabal until 2009.
I wish we had a parliamentary system. No way could he survive a no confidence vote right now.
