How do you respond to the kool aid drinkers?
My husband works with one of the worse bushbots ever. He sleeps, eats and drinks the Bush lingo.

He attacked my husband today with this email. Is it worth it to email him back, certain points to spread??? My husband is so pissed he is shaking.. I feel badly for him.. he used to be friends with this jackass but since the election, they have been enemies, this guy is always attacking him at work. Thanks.

You've pretty much labeled yourself "FAR LEFT".
After your remarks this morning.

Where is your "concern " for the people that have had their Lives uprooted/ruined by this hurricane???

You've managed to turn this into a political fight.
Personnally I'm more worried that those who need and want Help aren't getting it.

Since it's obviously been a while since you've been to church Let me straighten a few things out, Busch has no control over the Weather, as you LEFTIES seem to believe.....although he might an Be angle, but that's yet to be proven in my book.

The President can't send in troops untill the governor of the state Asks for them, he can't give money till the govornor asks for it, Oh and by the way congress is just starting a special session since They've been on break and away from washington, so can't even get money Sent to the state untill they the senate and congress approve it.

So my question is How is Busch responsible after just 3-days, for what is Appearing to be the U.S.A.'s largest disaster ever????..........
Oh that's right you're a holy rolling always rightous Lefty Know it all, Done it all, glass is always empty LEFTY.

Seems that it's always the REPUBLICANS that get us through the ruff spots.
REPUBLICANS always seem to get the BIG problems to deal with and come out Smelling like a rose!!!!

I heard a rumor you can pass on: Ben Lauden caused the hurricane, pass it on!!!

Seems to me that constitutes harassment.

But if your husband doesn't want to go there, I'd at least print it
and save a hard copy, or save the email somewhere. In case it's needed later to prove harassment.

In the meantime, I'd block any further emails from this willfully ignorant person.

When they were handed the Great Depression, they sure stunk it up. And they were rabid isolationists during WW2.

Or by "ruff spots" was he referring to fleas on Dennis the Menace's dog? I might trust Republicans to handle that. Or maybe not.

You've pretty much labeled yourself "FAR LEFT".

JUST THIS MORNING?
Where is your "concern " for the people that have had their Lives uprooted/ruined by this hurricane???
IT'S THE SOME CONCERN I HAVE ALWAYS HAD FOR VICTIMS OF THIS REGIME.... ON MY SLEEVE
You've managed to turn this into a political fight.
DAMN SKIPPY!!!!
Personnally I'm more worried that those who need and want Help aren't getting it.
THAT WOULD BE BECAUSE OF BUSH'S INCOMPETENT CLASSISM
Since it's obviously been a while since you've been to church Let me straighten a few things out,
WHAT DOES ANY OF THIS HAV ETO DO WITH MY FAITH
Busch has no control over the Weather, as you LEFTIES seem to believe.....although he might an Be angle, but that's yet to be proven in my book.
YES BUT HE HAS CONTROL OVER WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARD
The President can't send in troops untill the governor of the state Asks for them, he can't give money till the govornor asks for it,
SHE DID ON 9/27/05
Oh and by the way congress is just starting a special session since They've been on break and away from washington, so can't even get money Sent to the state untill they the senate and congress approve it.
THOSE PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO GO HOME TO SEE WHAT'S UP IN THEIR DISTRICTS/ STATES..... JUST LIKE W IS ENTITILED TO HIS 5 WEEK VACATION.... IT'S HARDWERK
So my question is How is Busch responsible after just 3-days, for what is Appearing to be the U.S.A.'s largest disaster ever????..........
LACK OF INIATIVE

My husband has been bitching since the election...they have had some major fights at work. The department has been bitching about the way Bush handled this hurricane since last week, its just that this idiot wasn't there ..today everyone was bitching but this jerk decided to email my husband.

He emailed him all the hurricane points and has not heard anything. I doubt he will. He also believes that there is no way Bush is responsible for the cost of gas or for anything that happens.

I really hate him and my blood pressure is off the charts right now. I have never been so angry in all my life.

he did respond....he has been so upset and crying over the devastation that he did a knee/jerk reaction. Most of the talking points were in there, he's not me and doesn't spend every waking moment on DU.. LOL. but kudos for trying...

I thought he would wait until I put something together, but he was so mad..this guy really gets to him.. he sounds and acts like O'Leilly does and I know how he gets under my skin.

If they only knew how they sounded and how uneducated they are...it just makes me mad.

28. You can add/ask:
-that Mr. Bush* had no trouble coming off vacation and recalling Congress for the Terri Schiavo case.

-why could he find time to go to a fund-raiser in San Diego instead of going to the Gulf Coast?

-why did it take 4 days for him to end his vacation to go to the Gulf Coast?

-here's the letter from the Governor's Office (LA) to FEMA. Isn't that a request for help? http://gov.louisiana.gov/Disaster%20Relief%20Request.pdf

I could add more, but that should do for starters.

32. My response to the idiot
Speaking of "Ben Lauden," Do you remember when Bush said he'd capture Osama bin Ladin "dead or alive"

Well, Osama Bin Ladin is alive and still sending out terrorists against the U.S.

Bush left Afghanistan before the job there was finished and now the war lords and Taliban are running the place.

And the last I heard one city in Iraq is now being run by Al Qaeda and Al Qaeda wasn't even in Iraq until Bush went there. Most experts now think the U.S. is in much graver danger now than it was before 9/ll because terrorists have moved into Iraq since we went there. Now the terrorists are getting sophisticated, on-the-job training in Iraq. And they are killing our soldiers while doing so. Iraq is in a very bad way.

As for the cause of the hurricane, Bush refuses to admit that global warming exists even though scientists are predicting that we'll have more serious hurricanes because of the warming of the oceans and the effect that warmer ocean water has on wind.

By the way, New Orleans would not have flooded if Bush hadn't cut the budget for repairing the levees.

Finally, you can go online and get a copy of the document showing that the governor of Louisiana asked for help.

If Clinton had still been president, he would never have been eating birthday cake while the hurricane was hitting the gulf states. He would have been reaching out to the governors and mayors, not playing a guitar.

As for church, remember Jesus said, "As you do unto the least of these, so you do unto me." If you are planning on seeing Bush in the next life, be prepared for hot weather.

35. First, you must realize that bushbots only talk to themselves
His comments are not really directed at your husband. Rather he is trying to convince himself of something -- that his whole life is not the tragic self-delusion that it really is.

Now, that said, I've found the best thing to do with these types is to simply "volley" with them. Never try to battle them by trying to "inform" them. Only rational people are subject to information.

By volley I mean simply pick out one or two of their comments and disagree with it, ridicule it, and/or demonstrate its falsity.

With this one I'd probably simply state that Bush is lying about not being asked, just like he lied about WMD (always try to establish a "pattern" of 2 or 3 things -- because to them that means "everything" he says is a lie). You could even refer him to Arianna's current blog.

I might also toss in that it IS "proven" that the bushkid is an "angle" -- the Angel of Death.
