Wow ! Oxy Limbaugh on Broadway for Katrina victims
NEW YORK, Sep 06, 2005 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Tickets went on sale Tuesday for conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh's one-man Broadway benefit show for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

"Rush on Broadway" will consist of a single Oct. 18 performance at the New Amsterdam Theatre, home of Disney's "Lion King," which will take the night off, the New York Post reported Tuesday.

The event is being sponsored by New York's WABC-AM, which is also owned by Disney.

Tickets are $77 apiece, the Post said.

16. He come out on a darkened stage like Liza would in a
magnificent gown with awesome shoes, and announces he is king of the republican gays.

Then the lights go up to reveal a fabulous set, with all the closeted republicans holding up a litter with RNC Chairman Mehlman as Cleopatra. Gannon is on a chain in a loincloth.

I would pay to see that.

19. Damnit, if tickets were like $5 I'd actually get a couple of them
and go with a bunch of DUers and a giant bag filled of rotting vegetables!!!

But for $77 I'd rather just send the money directly to Katrina instead of seeing this bloated asshole who is probably taking a cut of the profits and sending like $5/ticket for the Katrina suvivors!

22. He must have a close affilliation with Disney.

Disney owns ESPN and it was ESPN that gave him a shot at being a commentator during last football season. Naturally he was a big failure at that.
