They won't go down without a HUGE fight...think about it -
Edited on Tue Sep-06-05 11:50 AM by NRaleighLiberal
if what we are seeing is just the continuing playout of the neocon view of the future world that they've been planning for so many years, the newly aggressive (and perhaps temporary) truth of the media, a few negative polls, some outrage/rants posted by 70,000 or so people on DU and other web sites, and, yes, 10,000 plus dead in "the city of LA" - do we really think that any of this is going to stop them?

Not to play the Robert Ludlum/tinhat stuff, but as relatively encouraged I am to see some actual outrage lately, I am not overly optimistic that any of this is enough to prevent them from continuing to take us back into the dark ages. I also don't know what the answer is, outside of just trying to keep my sanity as it becomes SO BAD that they self destruct and we can move forward again.

2. they have no intention of going down at all . . .
they will have to be brought down, and that can only happen if the Democrats begin a massive drive for resignation/impeachment . . . and the chances of that happening are the same as poor black people returning to their homes in New Orleans . . .
