I have no doubt that the people trapped in the Houston Astrodome, and so many other temporary shelters in so many states, are thinking about the next election.

I'm sure they just can't wait to get back to their homes in time for the next election to make sure that the Republican Party (otherwise known as the Bush enablers) are permitted to continue their rule over the (seeming majority) of sheep that reside in this country.

Okay, so much for sarcasm. Anyone who ever casts another vote for these people deserves whatever befalls them.

1. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way
The black people who are affluent enough to be persuaded by the Republican Party are not going to much care what happens to poor people.

After all, there's Condi Rice, poster child for Black Republicans, and I doubt she's going to change her vote.

2. Wrong.
The black people who are affluent enough to be persuaded by the Republican Party are not going to much care what happens to poor people.

Kerry-Edwards won nearly 90% of the Black vote. Blacks are the most loyal base to Democrats!

Regarding the OP comment, "they get what they deserve," that's a bit harsh, doncha think? DEATH is fair punishment for casting a Repub vote? That sounds pretty hell, fire and brimestone, fundie like.

12.  Election fraud and voter suppression will eat away at
even more of that 90% than it did in 2004 unless we have verifiable voting.

6. Add two more for J.C. Watts & Alan Keyes
Okay, maybe only ONE more. If Alan Keyes keeps switching his state of residency, he won't be able to vote ANYwhere.

4. Well, of the ones not illegally stricken from the voting rolls or
rerouted to the wrong polling addresses... Diebold will switch the remaining black vote to Repub.

7. If I was in that situation I wouldn't vote
Independents,Democrats and Republicans have remained silent and given Bush free range even when thousands of people are dying here and in iraq, why should I vote for any of them?

10. The amount of black votes depends on how Diebold programs the machines
As Bill Moyers said during Iran Contra

Those that go behind the backs of the system have no one to blame but themselves when they fail.
