Why Did They Choose Not To Deliver Food And Water? Starving People Out! |
|
Edited on Tue Sep-06-05 12:47 PM by DistressedAmerican
There is a very simple explanation to the questions of federal inaction to save lives on NOLA.
It was deliberate policy. OUR government decided simply to starve people into leaving the city.
There was a post a couple of days ago with a link to the Red Cross's frequently asked questions. It stated quite clearly that the reason that they were not allowed to enter th city was that OUR government decided that if they were there it would encourage those still there stay and even may draw others to re-enter the city looking for relief.
I can't find it with the search down. If anyone still has it, please repost here. I have gone back to their site and the post is gone.
That FAQ really opened my eyes. I had been asking myself why the stuff was not being delivered. We all were. This is the reason. Bushco decided to starve the residents out of the city.
Of course the policy continues. Now we are refusing food and water to anyone that refuses to leave (for the record, they SHOULD LEAVE IMMEDIATELY).
This is cruel and inhuman policy making. Publicly they claim that they are doing everything they can. While privately they decide that they will starve those that do not leave to death?
While this may make some sense to those running computer simulations and making disaster response plans. But, I find it yet another example of the subhumans that run OUR government.
Does anyone still have that link?
I think this is the single most damming bit of evidence that I have seen that this was a humanitarian crisis was CREATED by OUR government!
They may have felt it was the right thing to do. But, they were horribly and tragically wrong!

several times. There was an amazing post on here earlier (I'm still hunting for it) about a large group of people who tried walking out, but the neighboring towns wouldn't let them...

6. Less Dangerous Than Starving To Death? |

I said that they should leave immediately. Is there no way to make them leave without sratving them to death in the attempt?
