22. I'm going to watch the last half |
|
since I missed it Friday night. But the panel, no Bushbots in attendance -- Bill was afraid of what he'd do to a Bush apologist at that time -- really ripped into the Bush flesh. With good reason. I expect Jon and Co. to do the same.

7. Please, no more vacations from The Daily Show. |
|
The tsunami happened while they were on vacation too. I think, maybe mother nature likes the show a bit too much.

14. I think Jon is second in vacation time to, |
|
but still far, FAR behind our pretzelnit! Jon has one sweet contract, but he's infinitely worth it. Unlike that blithering idiot in the White House. I think I'll stay up past my usual bedtime tonight and watch it. I always watch the repeat the next day, but this one should be a humdinger.

One of those "funny on the surface but he's really serious" things.

10. He can just rip them by showing clips of the lies. He doesn't have |
|
to say anything. The lies speak for themselves.

24. The new Entertainment Weekly explains |
|
how the FCC is going after cable. The Daily Show and South Park are specifically mentioned, along with HBO's "Rome". There's been some buzz on this recently. Apparently the fundamentalist wing of the Republican Party is muscling up for a fight to cleanup cable.

20. He doesn't need to say a thing. |

He has this routine that sums things up perfectly where they play the clips of the bastards, and then he'll just stare in disbelief, sometimes rubbing his eyes.

They must be having a tough time figuring out what to use tonight with so much material. Bush looking dumbfounded after grudgingly showing up at the site of the worst natural disaster in our nation's history...four days late. After playing the guitar. And Condi running around New York on Wednesday buying designer shoes and going to "Spamalot" while Americans are dying in the streets. Plus, now we have BushMama spouting her rich, old white woman's genteel wisdom, cyrstalizing how completely clueless this Marie Antoinette regime is. So much material. So little time. What will they choose? (wonder if the fools over at Faux will be watching.)
