Its possible the worst is yet to come. The respiratory illness is because of people being in a confined space together for days on end with already weakend immune systems. The response has been so bad already I have no confidence they will be able to deal with major outbreak of disease. And FEMA is turning medical professionals away. The CDC is not there. Why?

so will many others that live nowhere near New Orleans! The people are being shipped all over the USA and are being housed in ships for God's sakes!

6. Just reported on the local police scanner..FAA/FEMA blocked spraying

8. What the fuck?

I hope everyone has emailed and called their senators at this point demanding an investigation into the pitiful lack of response and planning by FEMA. For those who say "this isnt the time" I say, the hurricane season is only half over and theres another tropical storm in the Gulf right now. If we dont get to the bottom of this now thousands more will die.
