OK Choir, let's test our commitment to impeachment. Get just two friends
each to conduct spontaneous street corner and media outlet pickets demanding impeachment. It is long past time as we all know for them to go. Getting two people who in turn get two people and so on would send a message to not only the chimpy and his corporate cabal but it would also be a powerful message to the media and DINO's too.

They know that they have TOTAL control and they will only provide lip service and continue to ignore public will. That is unless and until we literally take to the streets in significant numbers to force change. I am not advocating rioting and violence. I am suggesting protest and civil disobedience.

The choir is ready and willing to call our reps but that has not been enough so we must intensify our efforts. Get two friends to call their reps too and so on.

1. We can't impeach until we regain Congress.
We can't regain Congress if our votes don't count.

9. I didn't say that, you did.
I'm just saying that impeachment is going to take a lot more work than just demanding it.

6. There's something I don't think you understand
If every vile Republican in the House thought that their political futures hinged upon impeaching Bush, they'd do it tomorrow, and they'd claim that this had been their plan all along.

So the trick is to make them understand that their corrupt little political lives depend on them impeaching. That's when it starts to get really difficult, but not impossible, I don't think.

3. We need to use the Rove Rule of Repetition
Say it over and over again until everyone believes it. The word "impeach" should be everywhere. Visualize impeachment. Think impeachment. Make it happen.

5. That's exactly what we should do. We need to take
back the sound bytes and make them our sound bytes not their's.

8. Last week a DUer brought up the idea of making a petition to
impeach. Although, you can do petitiions on line, we need to get to the people who aren't connected to the internet and the best way is to stand at shopping centers to collect signatures.

If someone can draft a really good petition and if DU'ers in each congressional district across the nation volunteer to spend a day a week collecting signatures for impeachment to be given to their congressional representative, I think we could start a grass roots movement in that direction.
