IMHO, Rove-Bush** administration is reaching a tipping point.
When (now maybe "if" is more accurate) Fitzgerald pronounces something about the Plame case, we could see REAL negativity set in for the Rove-Bush** administration. There will always be 35% or so right-wing God-Guns-Gay-Flag waving republican / conservative / Christian Coalition block to support everything they do or say.

And yes, the media is barking all the time in support of Rove-Bush** and yes, after this Katrina disaster the media will be screaming about some ghoulish murder, kidnapped white rich girl, or some Hollywood crime that they will report ad nauseam, but this Katrina story pushed the dirty slime cabal to the edge. They are back-pedaling; I just saw part of a news conference where Gen. Myers and Rumsfeld were ad-libbing their way through it-Myers was really winging it. The White House is on the defensive and on their heels. Fox "News" will have to go full throat now.
