Soooooooooooo! Bush is going to investigate himself, I see, |
|
and the mandarins in Congress will bob their heads in agreement while they complacently forget (again!) that they are supposed to represent us. Congress is a broken institution, it's broken because it has been allowed to gerrymander districts and because of the tremendous amount of money flowing its way, but especially, it's broken because the vast majority of Americans don't pay attention to what they are doing! The best thing that could happen would be a rout of the Republicans in 2006. I volunteer Senator Talent (R-MO) for the first round of firings! I can only hope this wakes people up.
:hi: Congress, remember us?

So Bush is going to investigate how he ended up botching this disaster. Yeah, makes perfect sense.
