PLEASE HELP! How Many Are In NOLA Now? Trying To Keep Hope Alive :o(

It seems that they are down to mandatory evacs & holdouts in NOLA?

Does anybody know if families are still being contacted. I am really in distress about a missing friend. He was shown briefly in CNN footage last Thurs a.m. at the Convention Center so everyone was hopeful knowing he survived the storm. Are people still being processed?? Maybe some of you who work with the evacuees know how long the process takes etc and what the status is with the last evacs from the Convention Center?
