Great NO pet story!
I just heard on NPR's "All Things Considered" that a guy and a couple of friends who own their own "Huey" chopper in Arizona flew 18 hrs to NO and rescued a bunch of people from a Hospital where evacuees had their pets with them. After getting the people out they flew to a Walmart and got 1900 lbs of pet food to save the 46 dogs and 19 cats left at the hospital. 2 employees were staying to care for the animals. They gave the pilot a note and said who do we thank!
