Scientology and the Red Cross - How did the Scientologists |

get into the Superdome? I know all help is good but unless I missed Tom Cruise's message, they don't believe in psychological problems - just self help and a good diet.
What is up ?

a person from their money. No danger of that here. If they are helping victims I don't care if they are Druids...
A better question would be, why are all those people from New Orleans in the Astrodome? Levy break from Repuke neglect?

5. They do believe in psychological problems... |

...they just don't believe that medication is the way to deal with most of them. I'm no supporter of Scientology. In fact I know very little about it. But I do agree that there is massive abuse of mood-altering drugs. They are fine for treatment of psychosis...but we are all neurotic to some degree. Treating with drugs just masks the problem.

7. I don't know, but they also managed to be allowed to stay at the WTC.. |

site when after a few weeks, on-site assistance (mostly to the people cleaning out the site and family visitors) was limited to a handful of official organizations. Somehow, the Scientologists were allowed to stay, providing meals and maintained some rest areas but also giving out pamphlets (at separate tables.) The NYT ran a long article about them.
I doubt they caught the interest of too many ironworkers or FDNY people doing second shifts, but it did see odd that they were there officially sanctioned.
