I was married to him for 8 years. We have joint custody of the kids and we're friends or friendly with each other anyway. He just came by to picked up the kids and we were discussing katrina aftermath stuff. Long story short, everything that came out of his mouth were all right wing talking points! All those years we were married, we never discussed politics. I looked at him with shock and I was like, "oh. my. god. you voted for Bush didn't you???? He just shrugged and didn't say anything. I am truly shocked to learn this. I can't believe I was once married to a repuke!

But he wasn't a repug when I married him because he was an Irish Catholic Kennedy guy. But I learned from my grown kids last summer that he started listening to rush and soon after that started supporting the bushes. However, my second and present husband calls bush an F'n Asshole...when he's feeling generous. And I don't have any contact with the first one. He lives in a state 1500 miles away.
