Did anyone hear the report that Saddam confessed to gassing the Kurds?
I swear I heard it on CNN as a breaking news item but I haven't seen it on DU.

but as I recall, the 'president' of Iraq SAID Saddam confessed to it.

Very convenient news item.

for a while. I doubt very much if Saddam mentioned it yesterday.
