These pictures are awful but they must be seen. The general public has no idea. Maybe Oprah's show will help change dark hearts and closed minds. :cry:

I've posted them both on DU previously.
And...because of the ongoing "Level 3" hobbling of the DU site, I can't run a search and post the original thread links for you.
So while I agree that these are images that the Bush Administration doesn't want you to see, my original posting source was in fact the US MSM media (I believe MSNBC for both, perhaps CNN also).

It isn't either/or. These were all beloved living animals, whether human or nonhuman. They deserved much better. The children, the elderly and infirmed, and the pets hit me hardest. They, after all were the ones most vulnerable--the ones we, as a society will be judged in terms of our care for the weakest among us.
