I see that you have received your administration talking points, O'Reilly. It must be nice to know that Karl still has you "in the loop". You engage in classic Rovespeak by baldly stating that: "The truth is this, Governor Blanco of Louisiana did not push for federal aid soon enough". Hell, you wouldn't know "the truth" if it bit you on your well-loofahed ass! The fact is that on Sunday, August 28, BEFORE THE HURRICANE EVEN MADE LANDFALL, Governor Blanco asked the President to immediately declare an expedited state of disaster for the State of Louisiana under the provisions of section 401 of the Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, section 42 of the USC. You can spin your falafel off trying to protect your boy, O'Reilly; but the Governor's request is an official public document, and you can't make it disappear. Bush screwed the pooch on this one, and your feeble efforts to make it appear otherwise simply serve to expose you as the partisan hack most of us already knew you to be.
