Ken Schram is getting ready to kick *'s ass again on TV in Seattle

For those who don't know Ken Schram, he is a local TV commentator, and several of his recent pieces have been posted on DU lately.

Sorry, I'm still in the dinosaur age when it comes to linking directly to things, but if you go to the KOMO site below, and scroll a little ways down, you will find the link to his commentary. Basically, he read exerpts from the Times-Picyune letter the paper wrote to Bush the other day, but it's more powerful to hear someone read the exerpts.

6. Schram's da man on Seattle TV. Has been for years...

I mentioned on another thread a few days ago that we in Vancouver, BC have always loved this guy's unabashed ranting; a true voice of sanity south of our border. I'll switch to KOMO.4 right now to catch it.

In contrast, because our CBC Radio is currently in the midst of a labour dispute, while dial-surfing this morning I stumbled upon a little Bellingham talk station (a COLLEGE TOWN no less), only to hear: "SUPPORT BABS BUSH, SHE DIDN'T MEAN WHAT SHE SAID"..."HALIBURTON IS THE BEST COMPANY FOR THE CLEANUP"...YADA YADA YADA...

Just goes to show 'ya: Seattle:BLUE, WA state:RED

14. Bellingham is a blue town

I grew up there and it's a college town and pretty liberal, although the further you get out of the city limits, the more red it becomes. Every one of my friends and family from Bellingham are liberal democrats.

..on vacation with the GF. His commentary blew both of us away. Living down here in Memphis, we're not used to his kind of commentary. I would love to be able to hear him regulary.

Ken doesn't comment every day (and generally not at all on weekends) but you can read/watch video of the commentary he does just after the news, 5:00 Pacific time. He is one of my faves!
