Picture of Trent Lott's Home
accidentally listened to Trent on the radio telling Shawn that it is not important that his house is no longer. He told Shawn that they need things like Clorox and chain saws. He said things were looking up in Mississippi. His wife was not at the house because she was taking care of others. How badly was his house hit? Is he just showing his sacrifice by making his house disaster bigger than it really is? He is not too traumatized. Is it just one of his many houses?

1. Sounds like he's trying to counter the Bush mis-step earlier this week
when Shrubya said he was looking forward to rebuilding Trent's house and sitting on the porch (surveying the struggling peasants, no doubt).

Trents house is gone, BTW.

2. No matter who you are,
when you lose your house, it just has to be traumatic.

3. It sounds as if he's still numb
and still in shock over the loss of his home.

Some people react to extreme stress by shutting down emotionally.

4. Bu$h has some chain saws.
Surprised he hasn't used that for a photo-op yet.
