Bush does deserve credit for one thing

He did manage the strategic resurves in a wise way. I honestly figured he would have used them to lower prices before the hurricane, which would have been a mistake since the increase was structual and not temporary. Instead he held off and had the ability to play that card on the temporary increase caused by Katrina. It is the one and only thing I would give him credit for in this whole mess but he does get kudos for that.
