Yes on day three, 4, & 5 they at times had to abandon patients. In one case they had to euthanize the man because they all had to evacuate and he could not survive on his own. He could not be carried down steps. And people were dying all night long - especially I think in Public hospitals.

The message we are supposed to get is how much more "efficient" private hospitals were than government reliant ones. (All because when you stand help down so that control of the city is lost - the predictable happens - but we were not supposed to pay attention to that part). The message of efficiency we all witness was one that was a little more fascist than what Bush & his WH were trying to portray.

And the fascist messaging continues in the weeks after - without skipping a beat. Which is strange because you would think a bunch of "Christians" would be busy being on their knees, begging forgiveness from their merciful god for their actions & vacuum & experiments the week before. Perhaps they need kneepads to do this part of their jobs as human beings or something.

You sort on think that with two or three wheels having fallen off the bus - the repukes & WH would stop the rhetoric - at least for a few days. But then you suddenly realize that they aren't actually reliant on wheels - there bus isn't making contact with earth - and wheels or proper actions - just simply don't matter to them anymore. And it is very sad to realize that.

7. Well - I mentioned the Doctor speaking on CNN and his anger at

what was not done. Another thread - though it qualified itself as a political trick to start with - asked about the "damage control" actions of the President. It is all over the news. Rove himself asked that we know "think" about the previous week and concentrate only on the rescue this week that did occur.
