NO horror story number 1001. |
The local news just interviewed a woman whose husband had had a double organ transplant in a hospital in NO the day before the flood. The hospital staff ABANDONED this man! Able-bodied patients STOLE a boat, some gasoline and got him and his wife to the airport. She had to ambubag him all the way to St. Louis. What kind of hospital employs people who abandon critically ill patients?:wtf:

1. I find that hard to believe -- there are so many reports of hospital staff |
behaving heroically, staying with patients through horrible conditions, even helping them breathe by compressing a bag manually for hours at a time because there was no electricity for the respirator. How about some confirmation for this story?
