Ankle Biting Pundits think the left is "orgasmic" over Katrina
(Are they ankle biters because they're immature or just puny?)

http://www.anklebitingpundits.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=2254

To say the Left’s reaction to Katrina is a public and political disgrace would be an understatement. They have sunk so low, they now politicize the weather. They take a perverse, twisted joy in the suffering of others because they are now convinced after a catalogue of failed P.R. stunts (Joe Wilson, Richard Clark, Fahrenheit 9-11, the fake 60 Minutes memo, Cindy Sheehan), they will finally get him.

For example, Bob Herbert from the New York Times sounds positively orgasmic in his column yesterday:

Quote:
Death and the stink of decay were all over the city. Corpses were propped up in wheelchairs and on lawn furniture, or left to decompose on sunbaked sidewalks. Some floated by in water fouled by human feces.

Degenerates roamed the city, shooting at rescue workers, beating and robbing distraught residents and tourists, raping women and girls. The president of the richest, most powerful country in the history of the world didn't seem to notice.

He’s bursting with morbid delight.

Katrina has brought out all the Left’s old tricks: victimology, anti-corporate rhetoric, class warfare, racial division, Bush-hatred. It’s old home day in the twisted mind of an American liberal.

3. Thousands of urban poor died
That's not in the liberal mind. It's fact in a GOP administration that watched ball games, shopped for shoes, and strummed guitars rather than looking out for the poor.

4. They've really ran use of the word "Orgasm" into the ground over the last
two decades.

Ever since El Rushbozo went on the air it's been their favorite giggle word of derision.

8. Studied in behavioral conditioning they are.
This propaganda stuff is so insidious.

Ideas are the last thing it's about.

It's conditioned responses, nothing more.

6. Tell him to shove it!
Just because the press doesn't talk about "Joe Wilson, Richard Clarke, Fahrenheit 9-11, the 60min memo, (and) Cindy Sheehan" doesn't absolve Bush and Co of those acts. That is the dumbest defense I've ever heard!

These people are either joking, or they seriously have to be delusional!

They're beyond reason. Now it's become all about keeping their fantasy world from collapsing.

9. "Re-framing" justifiable anger & outrage into something fun , "knotty",
& unimportant. Implying that Journalists take pleasure in censoring and writing about a tragedy is a little too much projection for me. The only people who see "hurricanes" as an opportunity are the people with the Bush "Corporate" mindset. The first responders end up with PTSD, the victims are traumatized, the people with real passion for their greater community are angry and demoralized. All of it very real.

The first rule of a sociopath is to make others take on the feelings they are incapable of acknowledging publicly in themselves. Called scapegoating.

...is the part about journalists, but then only in reference to Geraldo Rivera. Apparently he "saved" a woman from her flooded home, then dragged her in front of the camera again and again to show everyone how he'd "saved" her. What a creepy little man. :eyes:

19. Yup. That is Heraldo. He's not a real journalist. He just puts out a
good product. I would catagorize him as a businessman in that sense. Not that that is fair to a business people. Many of whom are trying their best and effected in the same way as we are.

11. Their interpretations of Herbert are odd. Anklebiters like death and decay
it seems. THose lines of Herbert's are anything but joyful or orgasmic.

Maybe freepers have sex to hurricane coverage.

14. I was thinking the same thing.
Describing scenes of death and horror is not orgasmic.

Maybe they get off on stock footage of concentration camps, too.
