2: Michael Jackson for whipping up a song about this.

and 1: was Geraldo for rescuing the same person twice so they could get it right.

3. I wish I didn't hear that because I saw him at the Superdome pleading

for help. He seemed very genuine then and I think it was the actions of the media that got the government off their asses.

5. see - the thing is ... it was good that he reported that story .

but .. that didn't make HIM "good" - he was going for the drama - as he always does. It wasn't about the people there -- it was about a *dramatic* story.

It was manipulative -- effective, yes -- and at least the story was getting out.

But ... he was still the post-Willowbook Geraldo. (Tho' - in a major shock to the system, he actually referenced Willowbrook.)

Geraldo Rivera arrives in a Fox News truck. An elderly woman with blond hair grips his elbow. She's wearing thick dark glasses and a pink shirt. He carries her small white dog in his arms. He's wearing thigh-high waders unzipped to below his knees. We shake hands. "They did two takes. Geraldo made that poor woman walk from the Fox News van to the heliport twice. Both times carrying her dog."

"Are you serious?" I ask. He says he is.

The doctor has been here for six days, volunteering for the state.
